After earning his law degree and a Master of Business Administration from Stetson University, Jason Hamilton Mikes began his career in Southwest Florida in 2003, where he worked at local offices of large international firms. During his tenure at these firms Jason excelled in representing condominiums, homeowners associations, developers, and commercial real estate owners. He has advised hundreds of community associations on day-to-day and complex legal matters and served as counsel of record in more than 1,000 mortgage and lien foreclosure cases in Lee and Collier counties. Jason has guided developers of residential, commercial, golf and marina properties from project inception through completion and served as Florida counsel on several multi-million dollar, multi-state and multi-tiered sale and financing transactions. His clients span Marco Island, Naples, Bonita Springs, Ft. Myers, Port Charlotte, and Sarasota.

In 2011 Jason formed Hamilton Mikes P.A. in Naples, Florida to meet an ever-present need for responsive legal counsel. Since the firm’s inception, he has continued to service his community association and private club clients while becoming an increasingly integral part of their executive teams as general counsel and business advisor.

Jason received the Martindale-Hubbell® AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating (4.5 out of 5.0) in 2012, reflective of the highest level of professional excellence. Super Lawyers recognized him as a "Florida Rising Star" in 2010, 2011, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. The Observer, formerly known as the Gulf Coast Business Review, selected Jason for their 2012 "Forty Under 40" class in recognition of his leadership, as well as his focus on building business in the region. Gulfshore Business Magazine featured him in a 2007 article entitled, "Degrees of Success — When an MBA Can Help Professionals Master the Business World" and named him a "Forty Under Forty" recipient in 2009.

As a respected member of the legal industry, Jason is frequently invited to address college and trade groups throughout the region. He is a member of The Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar and a member of the Collier County Bar Association. Jason lives in Naples with his wife and four children, where they are active members of Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church. He is a soccer coach licensed by the United States Soccer Federation and spends his free time coaching competitive youth soccer teams with the Florida Fire Juniors and Pine Ridge Middle School. He also holds several certifications from US Sailing.

AnnaDanielle Carter, JD

Attorney AnnaDanielle Carter graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies and earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern University. She brings nearly 20 years of legal experience to Hamilton Mikes, where she excels in providing superior legal counsel and advocacy to condominium, homeowner and other common-amenity associations.

As an accomplished litigator in state and federal courts, AnnaDanielle prosecutes lien foreclosure actions and defends community associations in mortgage foreclosure actions. She zealously and aggressively prosecutes covenant enforcement and eviction proceedings, and represents community associations, as creditors, in federal bankruptcy court.

AnnaDanielle is a native Southwest Floridian and began her career as a paralegal for a local law firm, where she spent nine years assisting attorneys in the Community Association Practice Group and the Real Estate and Planned Development Practice Group. From there, AnnaDanielle relocated to the Fort Lauderdale area, where she worked as a law clerk for the City Attorney’s Office in Sunrise and the Inter-American Center for Human Rights. Her experience there includes drafting legal briefs considered by Florida’s Supreme Court. Prior to joining Hamilton Mikes in 2011, AnnaDanielle managed Kelly Law Registry’s largest national account before becoming a contract attorney for Shook, Hardy & Bacon, LLP, one of the nation’s top-100 law firms.

In service to her profession, AnnaDanielle is a frequent guest lecturer in the legal studies programs at FGCU and Florida SouthWestern State College (formerly Edison College). She has contributed content to and assisted in the editing of the textbook titled The Florida Paralegal – a reference guide for students entering the legal profession. She is a member of The Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar and the Collier County Bar Association.
